September 2025 Update

Feels Good to be a Verified Chainlink Node Operator

To open this month’s review, we’re sharing a quote that, in our view, embodies Chainlink’s philosophy on lasting success:

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you sow.”

Over the past several years, Chainlink has been diligently sowing the seeds of its ecosystem through testing, expansion, upgrades, advocacy, and partnerships. This month’s extraordinary announcements show those efforts clearly bearing fruit — and leave us at DexTrac hugely optimistic about the future and our role in the ecosystem’s growth.

Without further ado, let’s dive right in.

Sibos 2025

Sibos, held this year in Frankfurt from 29 September to 2 October, is recognized as the world’s largest financial infrastructure conference, bringing together thousands of banks, financial institutions, and technology providers.

At this year’s event, there were a series of standout announcements — many centered on Chainlink — yet one in particular stood out as a genuine wow moment for the DexTrac team.

“Swift and a group of more than 30 financial institutions globally will develop a shared digital ledger, with initial focus on real-time 24/7 cross-border payments.”

The announcement further noted that

“Swift will also add capability to support interoperability across existing and emerging systems for various use cases.”

What made this announcement even more impactful was Sergey Nazarov’s follow-up commentary, where he explained:

“The recent announcement about them (Swift) having a chain I think takes things to a next level. We are going to be the provider of Oracle services, data services, connectivity and interoperability services, compliance, identity and other Oracle-type services to this chain.”

This news carries enormous implications for the Chainlink ecosystem and for service providers like DexTrac, particularly considering that SWIFT connects over 11,000 financial institutions in more than 200 countries. WOW!

Canton Joins the Club

In any other month, the news that Canton had joined the Chainlink SCALE program would have been top billing. But given the sheer weight of the announcements from Sibos, it has now been largely overshadowed. Make no mistake though — this is another hugely significant development for Chainlink and for DexTrac.

Canton might just be one of the most important under-the-radar blockchains that most people in crypto have never heard of.

For context, Canton already features one of the most extensive rosters of institutional partners in the blockchain ecosystem — supporting over $6 trillion in on-chain real-world assets — with members including HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Euroclear, J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, EY, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, and Nasdaq (full list can be found HERE).

Crucially, Canton has stated that it will be using Chainlink’s CCIP, PoR, and Data Streams/SmartData feeds — an incredibly exciting development for us given our role in supporting these Chainlink services. This is one ecosystem development we’ll be keeping a very close eye on.

Honorable Mentions

Moving beyond Sibos and Canton, this month also brought a flood of other announcements that resonated with the DexTrac team. Here are just a few highlights:

  • DigiFT, Chainlink & UBS — collaborating to automate tokenized fund operations. Read more
  • Saudi Awwal Bank — one of Saudi Arabia’s largest banks, with over $100B in assets, is leveraging multiple Chainlink services. Read more
  • World Chain — co-founded by Sam Altman, has made its token WLD a Cross-Chain Token (CCT). Read more

CCIP

In previous editions of our monthly review, we have highlighted DexTrac’s ongoing support for Chainlink’s CCIP by listing the number of networks and lanes we help secure. While we’ll continue to track that figure — which currently stands at well over 65 networks — we’re also beginning to look at another key indicator: the total value transferred across the entire CCIP network.

According to statistics compiled by X user @CCIPTracker, that figure for September alone surpassed $1 billion. This milestone underscores the growing importance of CCIP as a service, while also recognizing the secure and reliable operations we provide as a contributing node operator. Expect to see this metric featured in future reviews as CCIP adoption gathers pace.

Helped secure $1B in cross-chain value transfers — not a bad line to add to the DexTrac resume. 😉

Data Feeds

If data is the new oil, what about the refineries?

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we’re once again excited to report on the astonishing growth in our support for new OCR data feeds. With three months still left in 2025, we’ve already crossed 390 new feeds — topping last year’s total by more than 100.

That pace is also reflected in the fact that the total number of OCR feeds we support has surged past 1,300, with 37 added in September alone. These aren’t just meaningless statistics; they’re a sign of the growing trust being placed in Chainlink’s network — and in the node operators who secure and operate it reliably every single day.

And yes, data may be the new oil — and with numbers like these, Chainlink, with support from its node operators, is fast becoming the refinery that makes it incredibly valuable.

AND of course, we cannot forget to mention: DataLink!!! We’ll save the details for a future review — for now, just know that we’re seriously excited about what’s coming.

“DataLink is launching on 40 + blockchain mainnets, with MANY more to come.”

Some Final Thoughts

We’re clearly in an era where the world’s largest financial institutions are beginning to push the frontier for what’s possible on-chain — and they’re trusting Chainlink, (powered by secure and reliable node operators), to deliver the solutions they need.

In a way, that initial quote also speaks to our own journey: years spent building and running our infrastructure, testing the burgeoning Chainlink ecosystem, and supporting its network and service expansions. Thanks to the seeds we’ve sown through that commitment, we’re now well-positioned to benefit from milestones like Swift’s announcements at Sibos — and from what may still emerge at SmartCon in early November.

We are genuinely proud to be part of this technological inflection point: no longer supporting a niche experiment, but contributing to a blue-chip crypto ecosystem with blue-chip partnerships — including the U.S. government. The most exciting chapters are still to come.
